The Taste of Tradition

Cheryl Noble’s happiest childhood memories come from the time she used to help her mother in their vegetable garden. “We’d enjoy garden-to-table feasts nearly every night. That’s where my passion for simple, authentic cuisine was born,” she says. Noble later refined her passion in Italy. “In Italy, food is more than fuel for the body,” she says. “There’s a time-honored tradition of savoring food and wine and using only carefully cultivated, fresh ingredients.”

Noble and her husband, Tom, found a new expression of that tradition when they met Chef Francesco, an Italian baker famed for his sweet creations based on centuries-old recipes. After joining forces, they recently launched the Mia Bella gourmet brand of Italian amaretti in six varieties, including ricciarelli, apricot, almond finger and pignoli. According to Noble, these delicacies are created from only all-natural, gluten-free ingredients and made fresh daily. “Italian cuisine is shaped by the old ways and passed down for generations,” says Noble. “Our cookies reflect this tradition.
